Shipit.fi is a fast growing IT-/logistics company which provides our customers a one shop stop for their logistical needs.
We are looking for a Full Stack PHP Developer for 2nd line / tech support who has problem-solving skills, you are capable of Root-cause analysis. Knowledge in backend development and integrations are preferred.
Full-time, Work can begin immediately.
You will be working with a small team of developers to maintain & develope our legacy production systems build on Joomla (frontend) and Laravel applications (microservices). At the same time team is building a new system for International/European markets and migrate services to Google Cloud Platform. Development goal is refactoring business logics from Joomla-based application to new Laravel-based application(s). We expect that you can work productively on legacy code base,, but also deliver reliable and clean code. You know principles for high quality software development including technical and social aspects. You want to contribute to build coding and development standards and processes with newly founded team.
We expect you to deliver reliable and clean code with Laravel.
- Backend (Laravel framework)
- Cloud environments
- Problem-solving skills
- Capable of testing code
- (MySQL) databases
- Fluent in English
- Basic Linux skills
Experience in remote working – we can also arrange an office space in Finland or Aland Islands.
You will mostly be working in supportive actions and we expect you to have good problem-solving skills, and to be able to do Root-cause analysis. There will also be coding in cloud environment, so this knowledge is crucial.
